So readers, get ready for an interesting 'Author Interview Session'.
Me: Hello and welcome to my blog. Congratulations on your new book. What started you on the path to writing?
Kevin: I read a lot of Archie comics then I read these unabridged versions of the classics at the age of 12 that kick-started my writing.
Me: Tell us something about your new book.
Kevin: It’s the sequel to Kalki Book 1 and deals with the life and times of the Last avatar of Vishnu. It has an added dose of action, mystery, romance and other things.
Me: What sort of research did you do to write this book?
Kevin: I read Puranas and few comparative analysis texts on the ancient texts to get my facts right.
Me: What was the hardest part of writing this book? And what are you working on now?
Kevin: It was to just make it better than the first one since the first one was received tremendously well.
I’m working on Narasimha which is scheduled to release this summer.
Me: Do you read your book reviews? How do you deal with bad or good ones?
Kevin: I love each review, good or bad and I try to make myself better from it. After all, no book is perfect.
Me: If your novel were being made into a movie, whom would you pick to play the lead roles?
Kevin: I think Tiger Shroff would be a cool Kalki.
Me: What are your top three favourite books of all time?
Kevin: The Godfather
The Alchemist
Percy Jackson series (I know it has like a lot of Books but I couldn’t find any alternative)
Me: What has been one of your most rewarding experiences as an author?
Kevin: Love from readers who say how they were so inspired by the book. It’s the best feeling ever.
Me: What is the most difficult part of your artistic process?
Kevin: Getting into that writing zone. Writers often procrastinate.
Me: Are there any nuggets of wisdom you can impart to aspiring writers? Also, when can we expect the next book to be released?
Kevin: Wisdom- Never give up. Keep writing. Keep publishing. Keep failing and keep getting up. I have been a writer since 7 years but people only know me now. They see the bestseller tag but they don’t see the harshest of times I went through, the reactions I’ve faced.
Next book - Summer
