Book Review 23: Swear You Won't Tell? by Vedashree Khambete-Sharma.

A combination of thriller and comedy genres in a single book is something which is not found very often. But in the book, 'Swear You Won't Tell?', Vedashree Khambete-Sharma has combined these two genres and it's AMAZING! The book is totally unputdownable. I completed reading this book in 5 hours, without taking a break. I mean, I could not wait to know what would happen next. It's full of suspense and humour.

The plot is quite interesting. The protagonist is Avantika Pandit, who works as a journalist in Mumbai Daily. She was asked to attend a show by a famous designer, Aisha Juneja. As she saw the invitation card, Avantika realised that it was the same Aisha, her childhood enemy. With utter reluctance, she attended the event and was later asked to interview Aisha. But upon arriving at Aisha's home, her brother, Dhruv informed Avantika that Aisha wouldn't be able to meet her as their friend Laxmi was dead. Avantika was shocked. Laxmi was her former best friend. Although they had lost touch, it was hard for her to believe that Laxmi was dead. What follows is how Avantika tries to find out the truth behind Laxmi's death.
So, what is the truth behind Laxmi's death? How will Avantika find it out? You have to read the book to know more!

The writing style of the author is such that it keeps the readers glued to the book. Each and every aspect of the book is on-point. The characters are very well developed. The protagonist has a fresh and smart nature with a humorous side. Each of the characters is unique. Also, the book maintains a perfect sequence. And the amount of suspense is just appropriate and very fitting which makes the book a page-turner.

Honestly, I enjoyed reading every bit of the book. Not once did I feel bored. It was superbly interesting and funny.

The book is such that everyone will enjoy reading it. Trust me, you are going to love this wonderful book.
